The heat and refrigeration networks are systems that generate thermal energy (heat and cooling) in a centralized production plant and distribute it, through a network system, to all users connected to the said network system, satisfying their demand for heating, sanitary hot water and refrigeration.
At Agefred we install district heating and cooling, wherein the fluid power is delivered to service users through pipe networks, usually buried. Clients have in its buildings and facilities only the unit of exchange, transfer and measurement of energy.
The main benefit of these installations is the increase of energy efficiency, using renewable energies (biomass, solar energy, geothermal, etc.), building’s residual energies (surplus of heat or refrigeration, natural cooling, etc.), and high-efficiency production systems. Thus, with Agefred’s continuous management and maintenance, we can get to adjust optimally the generation to the demand, reducing energy consumption and air pollution.
At Agefred we also develop EPC contracts (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) for power plants, with efficient and renewable energies, and their corresponding distribution networks for cold glycolated water for refrigeration, cold water for air conditioning, steam and hot water.
